Call for 2021 Summer Interns
Barrett Barrera Projects is excited to announce that we are accepting applications for summer internship opportunities. As a dynamic and creative organization redefining art experiences and culture in St. Louis, Barrett Barrera Projects is committed to providing interns invaluable professional arts experience with guests at key locations while also growing research competencies around contemporary art. Interns will also gain exclusive, behind the scenes access to our facilities through tours and coordinated one-on-ones with key staff members.
Experience & Expectations:
- Ideal applicant shows demonstrated interest in the arts
- Completion of formalized education or previous experience in an arts organization is not required
- Works well independently but is also collaborative, dependable, and passionate
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Dropbox, and Google Suite
- Strong communication and writing skills
- High level organization
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Able to communicate with staff and clearly articulate policies and procedures
- Knowledge of operating standard office equipment
Dates: May 21 st – August 7th, 2021
Stipend: $1,200 or eligible for course credit
Schedule: 12 hours per week, Friday and Saturday, 11am – 5pm
