Happy HallowMcQueen! Instagram Challenge
We are inspired every day by the haunting and transgressive beauty of Lee Alexander McQueen’s vision, which often drew upon the grotesque and macabre. Halloween Week 2020 we challenged the Instagram community to find their own inspiration and reinterpret some of the late British designer’s iconic looks for a chance to win a gift certificate to The Vault Luxury Resale and a stylish McQueen patent leather razor cuff. Participants snapped their McQueen selfies, posted them on Instagram with #HallowMcQueen and tagged Barrett Barrera Projects!
The week culminated in a spooktacular Instagram Live event with judges Maxi Glamour and Michael Drummond, who walked viewers through pieces in our exhibition Ann Ray & Lee McQueen: Rendez-Vous as they presented the entries and announced a winner.
