RESPECT: Hip-Hop Style & Wisdom is an exhibition at the Oakland Museum of California exploring the unexpected story of how Hip-Hop — one of the widest reaching social movements of the last 50 years — influenced culture, starting from its roots on the streets, before rap, DJing, street art, breakdancing and street fashion launched into the popular mainstream.
